2008 MAY: coming up soon! CAMPING FOR BOY SCOUTS (TROOP 1999 only) May 10th and 11th Perry Lake, near Lawrence, KS Insha-Allah, we will leave from ICK on Saturday (05/10) at 10:00 AM sharp. Parents of boys (10 & Older) who are interested in camping with Troop 1999, please let us know by 6:00 PM on Thursday (05/08). Siblings are welcome... but space is limited, so please let us know ASAP. Rules to attend this camp out: For further information, please contact brothers
CUB SCOUTS (PACK 4999) and BOY SCOUT (TROOP 1999) STAND OF COLORS will be a re-enactment of the area border battles and campaigns in 1864 including the Battle of Westport, a local Civil War battle that is termed the “Gettysburg of the West” and was a turning point not only in the Civil War but in the history of our country. COST: $20 per adult, $7 per child MONEY DUE BY MONDAY, MAY 12th, 2008, can be given to sister Jasmine in the school office or to Brother Fadi Banyalmarjeh or Sister Jaime Banyalmarjeh WHO MAY ATTEND: SCOUTS AND THEIR FAMILIES ALSO IN MAY AT THE LIBERTY MEMORIAL , WWI MUSEUM: We will not attend as a troop/pack but you may want to go with your
families to learn and have some fun…

SHATTO DAIRY FARM, come learn how cows are milked, milk one yourself! Try various Shatto products and meet some of the bovine employees at SHATTO DAIRY FARM’s FAMILY FUN DAY! WHEN: 6/21/08--- meeting at the mosque at 9am, carpooling to the farm and staying until after lunch time. We will all be bringing a SACK LUNCH and a WATER BOTTLE with us please. The Dairy Farm is located in OSBORN, MO 1 hr and 15 minutes from KC.
