 The MAS Qur’an Institute of KC is pleased to announce the
start of the Qur’an Institute project to our Muslim
community in the greater KC metro area. This local Institute
was established in 2008 to serve Allah’s Book in this area
under the supervision of MAS national
Our Vision
“To facilitate an environment that supports the correct
recitation, understanding and memorization of the Quran
while engaging participants with personal and spiritual
development that brings into being a better citizen”
Our Mission Statement
-To Provide a variety of courses to support the recitation,
understanding and memorization of the holy Quran.
-All programs will be devised to consistently nurture in the
candidate a higher ethical and spiritual standard.
Why learning Quran?
-Narrated by Anas (may Allah be Pleased with him):
The prophet (r) said: “ For Allah (I) are people from among
the humankind. They asked: Oh messenger of Allah ), who are
these people? He said: They are the people of the Quran…the
people of Allah and his elect.” (Sahih Al-Jame‘)
-Narrated by Abu-Hurairah (may Allah be Pleased with
him): The prophet said: “When the companion of the Quran
returns to life on the day of judgment,
(The Quran) says: O Lord! Honor (Beautify) him. So he gets
crowned with the crown of honor”.
-Narrated by Othman (may Allah be pleased with Him): The
prophet (r) said: “ The best among you is the one who learn
the Quran and teach it”. (Sahih Al-Bukhary)
Services of the institution as follows:
1. Memorization of Holly Qur’an for different ages
male and female. There will be a strong emphasis on Tarbeyia
and the Islamic way of life. There will be reasonable Fees.
2. Teaching the recitation of Holly Qur’an as well as
memorization to all ages starting at 6years old and above
for males and females in a special
program designed for this purpose.
3. Teaching Tajweed to those who are interested in a
comprehensive Tajweed course which includes three levels
taught by well qualified personal. This will be geared
toward Qur’an teachers who wish to strengthen their
recitation, as well as Imams who would like to earn the
Ijaza (certification) in different Quraat.
4. Providing Ijaza for Hifz and recitation of the
Quran in all qiraat (Hafs, Warsh, Qaloon, Hesham, Khalad,
Rowais, Ibn wardan and many more ) which will have a
continuous list of previous sheikhs all the way to Prophet
Mohammad (Peace be upon him).
5. Special classes for non Arabic speaking male and
female.
6. Our students they will all study Rules to perfect
their reading and makharij in the beginning.
Our goal is to make participating Muslims memorizes the
QURAN or at least knows how to read it perfectly.
