Dr. Abdel Jawad Kansouah

 

Dr. Esam Omeish
President of the Muslim American Society (MAS)
Dr. Omeish is an M.D. Dr. with General Surgery Residency. He is married, three children.
Dr. Omeish is member of MAS’s Board of Directors. Dr. Omeish has alos a double degree major (government and biology) from Georgetown University. Dr. Omeish is involved in numerous community service, civic, and youth activities around the country.   

 

Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Shah
President of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA)
Dr.Zulfiqar Ali Shah is a very well respected Islamic scholar, a versatile speaker, teacher, writer and Hafiz-ul-Qur'an.
Currently Chairman & CEO of the Universal Heritage Foundation established September. 2003.
Director of the Islamic School of Southern Florida. Dr.Shah also served as the Director of the Islamic Center of Jacksonville, Florida for nine years, acquired his Ph.D. in comparative religions from the University of Wales, England.

 

Dr. Souhail Ghannouchi
Executive Director of the Muslim American Society (MAS),
editor-in-Chief of the American Muslim Magazine.
Lectured extensively and wrote many articles on Islam and contemporary issues
Imam and President of the Islamic Center of Madison – WI for several years
A founding member of the Tunisian Student Union
Ph-D in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison
Certified Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, & Reliability Engineer
Married and have 3 children

 

Br. Mahdi Bray
Imam Mahdi Bray is a long time civil and human rights activist. He is currently the Executive Director of the Muslim American Society (MAS) Freedom Foundation, and the President of the Coordinating Council of Muslim Organizations (CCMO). He also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Interfaith Committee for Worker Justice and the Interfaith Alliance, and also on the Advisory Board of the American Muslim Council and Muslim Public Affairs Council. He is a Washington, DC, Television and radio Talk-Show Host.

 He has served as a major consultant and a political advisor to Bonner & Associates, Washington's largest grassroots lobbying firm, the National Center for Housing Management, Alexandria City Redevelopment & Housing Authority, Community Relations Department, The City of Norfolk, Virginia, Department of Community Improvement, and the Independent Voter League.

 He has also served as a Political Advisor and Strategist, to several national, state, and local political campaigns. He is also the author of, 'The Masjid (Mosque) Voter's Guide' and 'The Political Guide for Masjid (Mosque) Activists.' Also,

 Imam Mahdi Bray is one of the main organizers for the No War on Iraq movement. He has also served as a liaison between President's White House Faith-Based Initiative Program and congressional affairs on behalf of the Muslim community.

 

Dr. Hamed Ghazali
Dr. Ghazali is the Principal of the Islamic School of Greater Kansas City and Chairman of MAS Council of Islamic Schools. He has vast experience in organized Islamic work in the US. Depth of his involvement in Islamic work ranges from student member of MSA to the Chairman of the board of trustees of MAS. Width of his services extends from local level as the Imam of the Islamic Society of Kansas City to national and international level as the vice president of ISNA. He has a Ph.D. from the School of Education, Kansas State University, Kansas. He has authored and published several papers on education.

 

Br. Noureddin Gayash
Br. Gayash is the Principal of Peace Academy in Tulsa, OK. Former Chairman of MAS Board of Director

 

Br. Raed Tayeh
Br. Tayeh is the former public affairs director of the MAS Freedom Foundation, he is a political consultant who wrote
a book  " A Muslim's Guide to American Politics and Government", which serves as a primer for anyone who is interested in the basic structure and functions of the American political system. Former director of the American Muslims for Global Peace and Justice
